I'm pretty green with the Firepower line, but have a decent amount of experience with the ASA/PIX lineup (Plus CheckPoint & PA).
I'm having a bit of difficulty getting SNMP working on a HA pair of 2110 I'm commissioning. I have basic connectivity via the management interface, the boxes have internet access etc, and I've successfully paired them for HA.
For the SNMP I've pushed what is basically IOS code via FlexConfig.
Unfortunately when trying to add the device onto my NMS i'm just hitting failures. I'd probably have a bit more success if I could see live traffic on the logs in FDM, but they stay irritatingly blank!
Can anyone offer any advice on 1) getting SNMP working and 2) being able to view basic traffic logs, (I have a rule of any / any allowed & logged just to test but nothing appears in FDM)
I quite like the look and feel of FDM, but some of the functionality seems a real backward step compared to the ASA lineup.
I should add this is FDM only, my org can't really stomach the cost of FMC
