Which command to the serial number for FTD 2130 I tried "#show serial number" but it didn't show the parent serial

You can try "show inventory"

As noted, "show inventory" will do it. You should be in the FTD clish or LINA cli (system support diagnostic-cli) to execute the command.

It looks like you are connecting to console - using the FXOS command line. It has syntax as you indicated, vs FTD as the original post implied.
