FirePower Configuration using ASDM

Steve Babcock

ASA5506-X with 9.9.2 with 7.9.2 ASDM

Firepower is 6.2.3.9

In ASA FirePower Configuration / Policies / Access Control  Policy

I have Status : Access control policy is out of date

I'm looking at the following URL for help:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firesight/541/firepower-module-user-guide/asa-firepower-module-user-guide-v541/AC-Getting-Started.html#81356

But the instructions do not seem to apply to an ASDM config

eg :

Step 2 Click the apply icon () next to the policy you want to apply.

The Apply Access Control Policy pop-up window appears.

There is no Check Mark to click on

Can someone point me in the right direction

Thanks,

Steve

I have tested Firepower v6.2.3.9 and v6.2.3.10 on the ASA5506 and found that it always displays a status of "policy is out of date" when deployed.  So I have gone back to v6.2.3.7, which works fine.

Hopefully there will be a working version in the next release.

Steve,

You are referring to an old document, in the firepower 6.x you should see a Deploy button next to save.
