Firepower Management Center Rules Update Error - Filename Invalid Characters

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help before I raise a TAC

I have just updated Firepower Management Center to 6.0.0.1 and now trying to install Fingerprint (4.5.0-261), Geo DB (2016-02-24-001) and Rules (2016-03-030002) updates and I get an error complaining about invalid filename characters on all of the files.

I haven't changed the filenames since downloading them so is this a bug in the new code?

Just in case it helps someone - Cisco TAC resolved the issue - was a problem with IE11:

In IE, please navigate to:

Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom level."

In the mentioned IE options, you should disable the option named "Include local directory path when uploading files to a server" for the "Security Zone" associated to the Defense Center Web interface URL.

Alternatively, you can use Firefox browser.

I would suggest updating them via Firepower management center auto download option.

Just navigate to system >updates and click on download updates. It will download latest VDB file and same can be done for rule update and geo updates in their respective tabs. So if the files is getting corrupted somehow while downloading on your PC , you won't need to redownload them.

Hi, thanks for trying to assist with this issue

I didn't mention that this system can't be connected to the internet so all updates have to be performed offline.

Solved my issue also by changing browser.
