I'm installing a fresh image on an ASA5516.
I have the ASA software installed and running (asa984-26-lfbff-k8.SPA).
I have the FirePOWER image file installed (asasfr-5500x-boot-6.4.0-1.img)
I'm trying to install the FirePOWER software package (asasfr-sys-6.4.0-102.pkg)
I'm using this command line: system install ftp://198.165.8.9/asasr-sys-6.4.0-102.pkg
I'm getting this error:
Verifying...
111
Upgrade aborted
Answers to obvious questions:
1) Am I connected to the MGT interface? Yes
2) Can the MGT interface ping 198.165.8.9 (my FTP server)? Yes
3) Does it make a difference if I include a username and password in the command line? No. Exact same result. Shouldn't be necessary anyway.
From what I've derived from online research, error 111 seems to indicate a version mismatch between the IMG and PKG files, but if that's the case, I'm clueless why I'm mismatched. They're both 6.4.0 and I downloaded them from the same page on Cisco's website.

Never mind. I switched from the Solarwinds FTP server to FileZilla and got the install working on the first attempt. <shrug>

Check the checksum of the files, and copy them using SCP, had issues in the past using FTP due the size of the files.
