Firepower Threat Defense-Firepower NGIPS-Firepower Services on ASA

Hi,

What is the  difference between "Firepower Threat Defense-Firepower NGIPS-Firepower Services on ASA" ?

ASA Mid-Range (5512/15/25/45/55) does not support   firepower NGIPS ?. Does it mean it does not  sNG features ?

Most 5500-X series have a Firepower services software module. However you come across one now and then (especially ones that were purchased more than a couple of years ago) that don't have the required SSD.

Also, 5506-x and 5512-X models cannot run Firepower beyond version 6.2.x due to memory restrictions. (6.4.x is the current release.)
