FIREPOWER VIPS and MAnagement Center not integrating

Dear Reader ,

i am facing issue with integration of Cisco firepower Virtual appliance and firepower management center . Both can ping each other , registration key is also same and there is no block in the network but still it says the following :-

Could not establish a connection with sensor. Make sure the registration keys match, that the software versions are compatible, and that the network is not blocking the connection.

both are latest version 6.0.0

pls advise.

Hello Riyasat,

This can be due to several reasons such as port connectivity issues , communication channel issues and communication configuration file issues.

Have you checked if the port 8305 is opened bi-directionally in the firewall ?

I would recommend you to open a case with the TAC support to isolate the issue.

Just make sure that you followed the proper steps for the registration.
