Hello everyone,
Case 1:
I'm curious about the capabilities of a firewall that operates without a license.
Additionally, do these capabilities vary between different firewall series when no license is present?
---------
At CCW I've added this item FPR1010-NGFW-K9 and there is an option at license tab to add this license FPR1K-EXCLUDE-SUBS.
My question is, "What are the firewall capabilities with this license?"
--------
Case 2:
Suppose I possess a license, what functionalities does the firewall lose when the license expires?
Please provide me with guidance on resources that can assist me!
Thank you.

at@ps when you purchase the FPR1010 you get a base license, which allows for basic access control rules and NAT etc.
If you want the NGFW features you purchase the Threat, Malware, URL or Remote Access VPN license. If one of the optional licenses expires, you can continue using features that require the license. However, the license is marked out of compliance and you need to purchase the license and add it to your account to bring the license back into compliance.
