Current i have Pix 515E and IDS 4215

We want to buy another set

Should we go throgh with the same or ASA

Requirements:

1. Stateful Firewall

2. Content and URL filtering

3. VPN Clients Supports

4, IDS

5. Web based managements

Pls provide your valuable suggestions

PIX firewall does not support content & URL filtering within itself.. it can operate with external servers like websense.. With your requirements, u can actually go in for ASA with CSC SSM card in it.. But you will have to use the current PIX for some other purpose, as u cannot failover between PIX and the ASA.. You can retain the IDS and use it for intrusion detection....

My best bet will be to go for a pair of ASA5510 or 5520, depending on the number of connections and Gig ethernet requirement.. Have a CSC module which can do URL filtering... Need to order the appropriate licenses from your cisco partner....
