Hello Cisco Community,

I am currently managing a DHCP pool configuration on Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC), where I need to configure DHCP option 252 (Proxy Auto-Discovery) with a string value. However, FMC only supports IP, ASCII, and Hexadecimal formats for DHCP options.

My requirement is to provide a string value for DHCP option 252, but I am unable to directly input the string in the FMC interface. how i can used string in FMC DHCP Option

use any string to ASCII/hex convert app and add ASCII/hex value in option,
the FTD will send this value with mention that this value is ASCII/hex and hence the user can re-covert it to string value

that what I know try it and check
