FMC - Too many login attempts.

Hi,

I am trying to log into an FMC and keep getting the error of too many login attempts. Try again in 60 minutes. Following the 60 minutes, the next attempt to login produces the same error.

A reload of the FMC was carried out and the first login to the web interface produced the same error.

Cisco Fire Linux OS v6.6.5 (build 13)
Cisco Firepower Management Center for VMWare v6.6.5.1 (build 15)

This was due to a monitoring system using the admin account to login.

Was there an actual solution for this?  I seeing this regularly.  Removing my account and re-adding seems to work for a little while but the issue comes back.

Other than figuring out what system is trying and failing to login with your credentials, you can restrict FMC access with an access list under System > Configuration.
