FMC (Virtual) and FTD deployement with High Availability

I have to deploy FMC (Virtual)  with 2 FTD appliance at primary DC and the same setup at secondary DC. How can I deploy the overall setup with high availability ? Please advise

Hi,

The HA setup is not supported between FMC if they are virtual. The FMC HA is available only for hardware FMC only.

As far as FTD is concerned, the HA is supported for both virtual as well as hardware version. The sample configuration is available in:

At any given point in time, the Sourcefire devices will have only 1 FMC as manager excluding HA where the standby FMC will also be shown in the output of "show managers"
