I am having some major throughput issues with my WAN (Internet access).
My original software was 7.0.1, I then upgraded to 7.1.0-90 and same thing.
My FPR is configured in PPPoE
I have 0 configuration as in aside from default getting on the internet (so no misconfiguration.
No matter which of the 7 available Ethernet Ports I connect to, I get nonstop drop outs or disconnects or simply spinning circles.
Some we sites, very few, work but are slow and most do not even load.
I was advised to look through;
from another gracious poster but my question/concern is if this guide is relevant to the commands of the FTD? Or if by posting here, my issue is a known one.

Some Website not load? answer is MSS exceeds, see this for ASA but is same for FTD.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/asa-5500-x-series-next-generation-firewalls/113137-asa-83-browse-00.html
Keep in mind that the ASA/FTD work as proxy between the client and Server and some option modify by the ASA/FTD.

Hello
So due to my lack of knowledge I was unable to deploy the commands on the FTD. What I did find out was that my Internet ONLY works correctly if I #1 1492 MTU my PPPoE and #2 1500 MTU LAN BUT I have to 1472 my PC... It works 100%. If I change any setting on any device, it won;t work. If I set LAN on FPR1010 to 1472, as the PC is, it won't work.
Either I am LUCKY it works, or something ON the FPR1010 FTD doesn't truly translate the 1472 across the LAN.
I just hate the fact I will need to change every physical device to 1472 if this is the case.
