FTD (5506 + FMC) with high CPU usage

Hello there,

I have a 5506 with FTD 6.1 and managed through FMC. I have no more than 30 Mbps of traffic and 20 users.

However, when I try to do any change on the configuration it takes too long to be applied (like 7 - 8 minutes). I saw on cli that cpu usage is hitting 99%, sometimes more than 100% (process lina, former ASA OS).

Does anyone know what could be causing it? How troubleshooting this kind of situation?

On a 5506-X with FTD the Lina process is always assigned 100% CPU time (of 400% total). 

But you are right, it does indeed take some time to apply a new policy. :)
