Hello
I have a 1120 FTD now that reports "high unmaged disk space". This is a known bug through 7.x.x and restart of syslog-ng usually has fixed the problem. I read that 7.2.2 has this: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/field-notices/725/fn72548.html
Its recommended that I upgrade, but when trying "readiness check" fails because "not enough disk space".
This file is the problem "-rw-r----- 1 root adm 78857258488 Jun 21 11:59 process_stderr.log"
Tried to rotate manually with this: https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCwd87227
But there is not enough space to roate, get:
error: error copying /ngfw/var/log/process_stderr.log to /ngfw/var/log/process_stderr.log.1: No space left on device
Does anyone know how to get around this ?
Thanks..

I did resolve this by running "cat /dev/null > process_stderr.log" to emty "process_stderr.log", and then do "/ngfw/etc/rc.d/init.d/syslog-ng restart".
