FTD password expiration

Hello,

I have FTD 6.6.1 managed by FMC and I would like to ask if I can set the expiration time for the admin user of the SSH

I give the command and it says I cannot change the current user

Thanks and regards,

Konstantinos

@kostasthedelegate No I misread the question.

I assume you are using local accounts...You cannot modify the admin account, but if you create another account, you can then configure the aging - configure user aging USERNAME 60 45. Certainly on 7.0 it allows you to make these changes whilst logged in as that user.

If you are using External Authentication, then it's the external ID source that would control the aging/expiration.

@kostasthedelegate

Do you want the timeout for the CLI of the FTD or FMC?

For the FTD you configure this under the Platform Settings > Timeouts > Console timeout

For the FMC, go to System > Configuration > Session Timeout.

I need the FTD side

Sorry I did not write it clear

I would like to set the expiration for the password of admin user on FTD

Is that possible?
