is FTD readiness check disruptive for services? In other words, can I do readiness check in production time and be sure it will not disrupt services?
-You can perform the readiness check without harming services. I have done this tons of times without issue in prod locations. Definitely recommend doing so before any upgrades to avoid potential issues.
