Odd. My FTDv deployments have only been on ESXi. They always give me the clish command prompt (">").
If you "exit" from the Azure console cli, what do you get?

Yes, via Azure Console. Did ssh from Azure console to FTD also and ssh to FMC box and then FTD getting the same prompt. Seems like i am in but cannot see the correct firepower cli.

This can mean you are logged in with a user account that doesnt have the proper privileges, however typing in "clish" from the ftdv :~$ prompt can get you into the > prompt you are looking for.
