Generate RSA key from standby firewall

Hi all,

A quick question, Can i change any configuration in the standby firewall? i couldnt login into my primary active firewall.

Currently i can only connect to my standby ready FWSM thru session slot command.

If i generate a new rsa key for ssh, will it take effect in the active firewall as well?

Hi,

I am not sure if this command was available on the FWSM. On the ASA it can be used to send commands through the Failover

failover exec mate

Or some variation of the "failover exec" command

To my understanding the Standby device shouldnt issue any command to the Active device in a Failover pair. Think it even warns of this when going to "configure terminal"

we manage to get the login back. just right now, we cant ssh from particular PC.
