We have a Geo block list in place which allows for US based IP's to connect to our devices. The rule is not recognizing a US based IP as being a US IP even though the logs show it should, because of this the rule drops the connection for this single IP -  99.100.153.170

Hello @Techtitan07,

When it comes to geolocation of IP addresses, it relies on various databases and algorithms that may have limitations or inconsistencies. Geolocation databases are maintained by third-party providers, and their accuracy can vary.

If you are experiencing issues with a specific IP address not being recognized correctly as a US IP, it's recommended to verify the accuracy of the geolocation information using multiple sources and contact the provider of the geolocation database being used.

You can also do a "Search Whois" on a RIR:

https://www.arin.net/ or https://www.ripe.net/

The results will provide information about the IP address, including the registered organization, country, and other relevant details. By reviewing this information, you can verify whether the IP address is correctly recognized as a US IP according to the RIR database.

It's advisable to consider multiple sources.

Best regards
