Global Service Policy

I have a 5515-x running 9.0.1 with a default global service policy, service-policy global_policy global. I also have a software IPS, and when looking at the configuration it suggest setting that as that service policy as global, but I can only have one service-policy as global. What's the best practice in this circumstance, can I just put my IPS class map under under my global_policy map?

Hello Roperry,

Yes, only one global but you can attach different class-maps into that policy so do not worry for that
