Hello. I was recently given an asa 5505 from a local company who upgraded their Network equipment. I have a ccna and would love to get at least a ccna in security now that I have this device.
My issue is that I don't know what to set it up as an edge device then have it connect to my LAN router. I had ospf running on both devices and Pat (permit all just to make sure it wasnt my acl) configured on the asa. Is there a firewall specific step I am missing? I've even went through a few of the asa setup guides but they are mostly for plugging directly into your asa.
