Hello... We are having some problems with a few 2950 switches. W e have several already added to CW2K. We upgraded IOS , and to RME IDU R3 to no avail. My telecom analyst found a known bug with the 2950:
Cisco Bug Id: CSCdw13531 ' The workaround is to remove CISCO-FLASH-MIB from the MIB walk
When we try to add the device to RME we see the CPU usage jump to 98 % on SNMP. I would like to know :
1 - how to edit the MIB
2 - does anyone know what RME is doing when a device is being added to RME, and wether this related to our problem ?

CSCdx54836 sounds more close. One thing you can do is to create views on the device preventing this MIB to be polled.

Can I do this even though these switches refuses to be added in RME ?

You can use the workaround listed in CSCdx54836 to add the switches in RME first.
