How to back out of failed FMC update?

I have a 6.1 FMC running on vShpere 5.1.  and am now aware 6.2+ requires vSphere upgrade.

However, I'm stuck at:

"[11%] Running script 000_start/400_run_troubleshoot.sh... " and can't log into the console to back out of the update.

Anyone know how to do this through the CLI?  

vSphere upgrade is pending, but I'd like to keep my FMC working at 6.1 until it's installed.

You are best off opening a TAC case to recover from this gracefully and ascertain the root cause for the failure.
