How To block Packet Sniffer on AVC

Hi Cisco Support,

How can we block Wireshark.exe or other Packet Sniffer applications using AVC? or what category in place?

If you want to block the file download itself, you need to use File policy which can block certain extension directly.

There is no specific way to block software unless it communicates online by AVC. AVC detects and blocks the application based on its communication traffic.
