I just got ASA 5520 with 8.4.3 and I have copied 8.2.5 and changed the boot system and erased all start-up configs, but still i am receiving below commands, how to remove those context configs and make it single firewall?

ciscoasa(config)# boot system flash:/asa825-k8.bin

Should i delete the IOS?

Your system execution space configuration file seems to not recognize that you have told it to boot into an ASA 8.2(5) image. If you're sure that you have good image binary file on disk0:, you can delete the 8.4(3) image from disk0: and reload once again.

It is a bit odd to go backwards though. Most people here are trying to figure out how to move forwards.

By the way, IOS is switch and router software. The ASA simply runs ASA (Adaptive Security Appliance) software.

Hmmm, strange, deleted and worked, you know cisco is famous on long live ... , some equipments still running ...
