We have been trying to get MS Lync working through our proxy server, but for some reason we cannot get this working.
Even through Lync has IE proxy configuration settings for all external traffic to route through the proxy server, my syslog shows that Lync has tried to connect directly through the external interface on the ASA, which is being blocked.
All internet traffic is setup to route through a windows squid proxy, but Lync is now routing correctly.
Has anyone had any experience of how this application works, and how we can work towards getting all requests routing to a proxy server?
