using the button 'add category' in an access-policy we may logically group access-rules in the fmc-gui.
however, we have not been able to find a possibility to GET or POST categories directly using the rest-api (we are currently running version 6.2.3 of the fmc)
are categories currently exposed directly via the rest-api - or alternatively when will they be implemented therein ?
we know, that we may use
/api/fmc_config/v1/domain/DomainUUID/policy/accesspolicies/containerUUID/accessrules?bulk=true&category=NameOfCategory
in order to post access-rules directly into a given category of a policy - but these categories must exist there beforehand ...
