How to login to ASA 5525 from MacOS

Hi I'm new to ASA and wanted to ask how does one log into it using ASDM on a MacOS? I think I may have to set the username and password but I wasn't sure how to do so or how to check. The goal is to log in through portal and check the settings. I have access to it in Terminal just not sure what I'm looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Download and install Java (JRE) based on whether you use MacBook based on Intel or Apple Silicon (M1, M2, etc mac uses ARM64)

Once done with Java installation, access your ASA via browser (try different browsers as well), then download ASDM and launch. 

https://<asa-ip>

Same credentials you use for SSH should also work for ASDM.

In addition to have Java installed on your macOS, the firewall would need to be configured to allow the HTTPS connections, and also must have ASDM loaded. Could you please share the output of the following commands from the ASA for review:

sh run asdm
sh run http
sh run aaa
