Guys,
may be this is a silly question. I want to raise support TAC case with cisco for one of my clients firewall issue.
can anyone please help me with how to raise a case? also i want to know how do i check if my firewall can get support from them or not?

Send an email to tac@cisco.com. In the email specify the following:
1. Your name;
2. Your CCO login;
3. Serial Number of appliance;
4. Brief description of problem with "sh tech-support" attached.

hi,
what's your ASA platform?
the 5500-X series uses the chassis' serial number for smartnet, which is used for opening a Cisco TAC case.

besides emailing TAC, you could raise a TAC case via Cisco.com. just click on "+New Case."
you could search either by appliance serial number or smartnet contract number:
