Hi,
I search and could not find how to restore the saved configuration back to the PIX.
I have set up tftp to save configuration to tftp server. I would like to restore that configuration back to PIX on flash: then reboot.
The command "config net ..." is not what I wanted because it will merge the two configs, current config and the file going to get from tftp server.
Thank you for your helps.

Hi,
Do "write erase" and then reboot the PIX using the "reload" command.
Good Luck,

I do not think this will work. Because it will erase the configuration, then reboot.
So how do you copy the saved configuration from tftp server using tftp (not by using copy and paste from screen).
Thanks again.

Any one have any suggestion how to restore the saved configuration to the Pix 515 version 6.3.5
Copy and paste won't work well on console using serial connection.
Thanks again.

This should work:
1) go into enable mode
2) Go into configuration mode
3) Type the command:
configure net
the output of the configure command looks promising:
(config)# configure ?
Usage: configure [terminal|floppy|memory]
configure http[s]://[
configure net [
configure factory-default [
clear configure [primary|secondary|all]
Hope this helps...

Hi netfkensp,
Thank you for your helps. I tried this commands but it will merge the current config in RAM with the saved file from tftp.
Thanks again.
