Hi everyone,
I have the following case:
2 x Cat6509 (HSRP master and slave)
2 x IDSM blades (v5.0 - 229)
each Cat has his own IDSM blade install online (not inline), with 2 monitoring sessions on each Cat.
There is any way to monitor traffic over 600 Mbps in those 2 different blades?

The IDSM only can process 600 Mbps. You could perhaps divide the load by inspecting different VLANs on each IDSM using access maps.
I hope it helps .. Please rate it if it does !!!

I have doubts that 2 IDSM2 blades cant cover traffic around 300 Mbps as I cant get from the SNMP statistics. Thats way I was asking how 2 blades can be configure without having problem with interVLAN traffic.

Hi
all depends on your topology.
- if it's possible you can make 1st Cat be master for 1st half of routed vlans, 2nd Cat for 2nd half splitting traffic load between chasis and two IDSMs
or
- try to play with span/rspan/vacl redirects,
