If I have free disk space in my ESXi Server How to extend Sourcefire free disk ?

I have free 1TB disk in my ESXi  Server. When I upload Firepower image (Sourcefire_Defense_Center_Virtual64_VMware-ESXi-X.X.X-xxx.ovf)  and extend to 900GB.  when I boot Sourcefire Defense center and I check it free disk, it show free 2xx GB. How can I solve this problem?

I have a similar issue, but I've been running VDC for a few months and still have plenty of disk space. 

One option could be creating a Linux-based SAN using some well known distro and configure Defense Center to use that.
