I have a number of Cisco ASA devices that i want to upgrade the ASA/ASDM software on.
The all run in active / standby mode.
I have a mixture of ASA5525-X, ASA5545-X and ASA5555-X devices.
They all run:
Current ASA version = 9.8(4)10
Current ASDM = 7.13(1)
Current FXOS = 2.2(2.121)
I want to upgrade to:
ASA latest verion = 9.14.4
ASDM latest version = 7.19.1
But what about the FXOS version - do i need to upgrade that ?
I'm having trouble finding a clear explanation as Cisco documentation invariably points to firepower devices.
That said i discovered the document below.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/upgrade/asa-upgrade/asa-appliance-asav.html#topic_r5l_tt5_bbb
Just to confirm i do not have a physical firepower module in any of the ASA devices.
Is there a software file I need to download for the FXOS ?
Any help much appreciated.

If the ASA device, you do not have SFR Module - you do not need FXOS
FXOS required only for FTD device running FXOS on top you installed ASA .

It's never required or used on the ASA 5500-X series.
