IOS Content Filtering license

Dear All,

Let's say I have an ISR 28xx or 38xx and I want to enable IOS Content Filtering.

OK, I buy the subscribtion license like SL-CNFIL-XXX-1Y, where the XXX is depending on the platform.

What would happen, if I want to transfer for example the 2811 subscription license to 2821? Is there an upgrade part number?

Or vice-versa, can I use the 2821 subscription license on 2811?

Sorry, but one more : can I use the 2821 license on 2911 or 2921?

No, unfortunately the IOS Content Filtering license is non transferable.

The only time you can transfer the license is when you RMA a faulty router. Otherwise, the license is tied into the serial# of the router.
