We are using PIX 506 and its connected to switch through DHCP server (Linux).Whether the IP helper command is mandatory for the PIX FW? Am unable to find the same command in this version of PIX FW.

Hi,

Pix firewalls do have a DHCP relay function which is essentially the same as Ip-helper and this was introduced in 6.3 version.
