When i enable the auto update form cisco, do i still need to configure the sensor? Are the package files (.pkg) automatically applied to the sensor and capturing/blocking mailicious traffic ?
The auto-update only pertains to the signature updates. You still need to configure the sensor as per your security policy. Also you might need to tune/disable those newly installed signatures as per the policy.
