what is the diffrence between the retired cisco exam 642-531 and the new one 642-532

The new test covers the 5.x features, the old test was based on 4.x functionality. There is a new Cisco Press book to go with the new test called "CCSP Self Study: Cisco Secure Intrusion Detection System (CSIDS) Second Edition"
