That is simply a part number for service agreement SMARTnet services, I suggest you read the link bellow to learn about service level agreements etc.. . If you do purchase the maintanance for your AIP your sales rep should provide you with a contract number which will provide you with all you need to register your AIP device as well as be able to download software updates, including automatic signature updates and also be entitle to get Cisco Technical Support.
Since it seems to me you are new to this process, I suggest you contact Cisco TAC directly to make sure your Cisco login profile does contains the service contract number , they should also walk you through initial process for updating your AIP module.
