Is ASDM-IDM launcher for version 7.10.1 compatible with ASDM 7.8?

We have 2 pairs of ASAs and plan to upgrade ASDM version to 7.10.1 for one pair, the other pair will remain ASDM version 7.8(1). Is ASDM-IDM Launcher for version 7.10.1 compatible with ASDM version 7.8(1)?
