I'am planning to migrate my ASA5506 from ASA/FirePower Module Configuration to Threat Defense Config.
1. I created a Smart Account and a Virtual Account in Smart Software Licensing.
2. In PLR / "PAKs and Tokens" i assigned the already fulfilled Control License and TAMC-License to my Smart account
3. In PLR / "Devices" i assigned the Device License Key to my smart account.
4. In Smart Software Licensing Portal / "Licenses" i see the Malware, Threat Protection and URL Filtering Licenses with "In Use" = 0 (it's O.K. )
5. The ASA is still running the ASA and FirePower Modul Images.
Under "Licenses" in Smart Software Licensing Portal I do not see the Control License and unter "Product Instances" I don't see the ASA5506 ( What i assumed ) .
What are the next steps ?
Do i have - after Reimaging the ASA with FPTD Image and establish Internet Access - only to create the token and Register the ASA ? ( I will use the Device Manager - not the FMC ).
Is the ASA and Control License then visible in the Smart Software Licensing Portal ?
How to migrate the Device and Control License ?
