Managment interface goes down on failover and won't comeback up.

Our environment consists of two identical FPR-1140's running ASA version 9.14. We have them set up for failover, and everything works properly if one of the devices were to fail. However, every time this happens it seems to bring the management line down, and it continues to stay down even when both machines have been restored and set back to their original primary/secondary failover states.  The only way I seem to get the management line restored is if I shutdown and reload both firewalls at the same time. This is obviously not ideal. Any ideas on what could be causing this or a way to manually bring up the interface?
