Hello,
we are in a process to migrate to a new ESXi Host and are unsure if we can simply move the firepower virtual machines (6.2.0)without losing the license associations.
are there any known problems when doing so? if yes can I somehow prepare the licenses with the cisco support before the actual migration?
thank you
best regards
Daniel

The idea of Smart Licenses was the licenses to not be bound to the MAC addresses of the machines as it was with the classic ones.
As you have FTD, there should be no licensing issues, as the FTD requires Smart Licensing.
However, for the FMC, I would keep the same MAC address is has now, if possible, just in case.
