Monitor which tunnels are up - DNS?

I would like to monitor which tunnels I have that are up. We use VPN tunnels as backups to serial lease lines. Right now, I only have 4 tunnels in addition to 3 others that are vendor-based connections. I would like to look at a list and see which tunnels are up - now I look at "sh crypto isakmp sa" but Isee nothing but IP addresses. When I use the "hostname" instead of "address" is setting up peers, it resolves the hostnames back to the IP addresses in my config. Is there anything is Ciscoworks that would help with this?

Thanks!

Hi lhoyle

You can use ciscoworks VMS to know everything about IPSEC tunnels.. You have a module called "monitoring centre for performance" which comes with VMS package.. using this, you can have all details about site-to-site, remote site VPNs, firewall, load balancers, ssl etc...

this can give you real time and historic data.. contact your cisco partner to know more about this product...
