we have NAC appliance running 4.7.2 - our design is in band virtual gateway
we have a MAC osx machines ( not all) that the cca agent does not pop up for them automatically - and when they try to login through the web browser, they get the redirecting page, then the page will not display - some machiens are working fine, dhcp server is in the same vlan as the clients - dns is resolving name of nac server properly - thinking it's a pure client issue
see screenshots - any ideas besides dns?

Hi,
It looks like the client is not able to reach the cas hostname sslpx-ccas01.edmc.edu.
If you do nslookup on the client does it get resolved to the CAS ip address?
If you connect a WindowsXP machine on the same switchport, does it get connected?
Do you have the agent logs? We could take a look to them...
HTH,
Tiago

thanks - here are the logs, but they are just jumbled numbers....
i plugged an xp laptop in and it was fine, i foud out they are running some MAC application called xsan, and it was intefering w/ the agent, but it's weird because even web-login starts to redirect and gives me a 404 - strange, i will investigate why this program conflicts
