How to do password recovery for an 'NM-CIDS" module? It is installed in a Cisco 2811 router.

Hi,

When you first initialize/configure NM-IDS, it is recommended to have backup admin user account or to create a service account for recovery or troubleshooting purposes.

A service account is needed for password recovery and other special debug situations directed by TAC.

However, if you do not have service account, you have to reset & re-image NM-CIDS, as stated in:
