number of nameif commands with PIX ?

according to PIX Installation Guide, you can have up to 8 interfaces on a PIX 525 (see Note at URL : http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_61/pix_ig/pix525.htm#xtocid11

according to PIX Configuration Guide, you can have up to 6 interfaces defined with the nameif command(no PIX model is specified ,refer following URL and the security level parameter description : http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_61/cmd_ref/mr.htm#xtocid3)

Questions : Can you explain the differences between both documentations ?

As far as I now, it is a simple

documentation mistake (there are

a few). I installed 7 interfaces

on a pix535 with pix5.3.1 and

it worked with all the nameifs.
