On Prem FMCv and CDO FMC version mismatch

I am trying to import the policies from my on prem FMCv which has the latest available version 7.4.1xx, exported the policy, them went to CDO and imported only to get an error that the CDO version is 7.4.2 and incompatible with 7.4.1.   How am I supposed to import the policy for a migration if I can't upgrade the on prem to the same version?

7.4.2 for on-prem FMCs will be released in the next 30 days. You will need to wait until that happens to use that feature.

howdy M.R. , i am literally 'on the cusp' of going 7.3.x -> 7.4.1.x ....  is there any ReleaseNotes available anywhere , which would help in decide if i should 'just wait' for 7.4.2 ....(fixes / new / etc) ?

@Eddie in.Mass 7.4.2 release notes won't be published until the software is released. 7.4.x is a no-brainer if you are already on 7.3.x.

But, if you aren't requiring any of the new features right now then just wait until next month and 7.4.2 to minimize the number of upgrades you have to do.

Well that throws a wrench into things then since the 7125 Firepowers this is to replace is EOL.  I specifically need to policies off our FMC into CDO in order to get the new 3120 FTD instance up and running to replace them.

You should be able to open a support ticket with TAC for your CDO and have them help you migrate the whole FMC into CDO.

*unless you are only moving the new 3120s in while leaving other devices managed by on-prem FMC).
