Hi All,
For packet capture on ASA i have questions below to understand it better
If i need to capture the packet on ASA then the destination IP can be any IP -- means IP of PC,Server,Router interface ,Switch interface
Also for destination IP the ASA should need to have route to the destination or not in its routing table ? or it should have default route ?
Thanks
MAhesh

Hello Mahesh,
That is correct you can set the destination as any you want ( any being any packet traversing the ASAdestined to any IP address on the world)
The asa does not need to have a route to the destination, the packet wil be capture as long as the packet traverses the ASA.

Julio
