Ping Drops

Hi,

Have recently migrated servers behind the ASA 5585 SSP-60 since then our monitoring server is reporting time outs for so many devices being monitored by the monitoring server. The sysopt noproxyarp is applied on all interfaces.

Any idea what could be the problem.

Hi,

On the firewall logs nothing suspicious. Monitoring server says cannot reach the devices.

Is it monitoring using ICMP? If so, do you see the request and the reply in the logs?

Hi,

Yes monitoring is using ICMP. I see the request but not the reply. Strange enough when the tool reports the devices to be down i am able to ping those devices from my machine.
